The Story
I created El Copiloto more than 12 years ago to help small businesses secure their international sales.
I have always worked in export. I started in big multinational companies, where I learnt international marketing, sales analysis, budgeting, reporting. These are the foundations which brought me, structure, tools. Then I worked in small and medium size companies in different sectors. It made me polyvalent, flexible, a quick learner. It also gave me the opportunity to work with a lot of different countries and quickly develop negotiation skills and gain responsabilities.
My years of experience made it clear that it was more difficult for SME’s to access internationalization and not because of the product or the potential but mainly because of a lack of ressources, a lack of experience. What about if you could start immediately with someone high profiled to put you on the right tracks? That would be a real game changer.
So after 15 years in export, I set up my own business to help SME’s develop their internationall sales within an affordable budget. I impulse the activity. That way, you are able to generate sufficient sales to then employ an export manager full time and multiply your business subsequently.
I have helped companies in different sectors, such as wine, outdoor equipment, design furnitures, stationery, cosmetics… and each time., I create new patterns, evolve with their growth. I also trained myself to the digital world to get the best tools out of it because international and digital are very much linked.

I am not adding your product to a portfolio. I am not trying to push it into “my network”. I am identifying your ideal customer profiles, your potential networks and I am being very creative to broaden your perspectives. I build a solid strategy that I can implement on your behalf. I shape my work constantly to your requirements.
